Barri is a figurative artist, with a degree in graphic design.
Her paintings are a form of storytelling of those she paints and the lives they embody. She is inspired by what she sees and what the people she paints reveal of themselves. The fluid grace of a dancer’s lines, the rhythm carried in a body, a look of anguish or hidden pain, an expression of love, the solitary privacy carried in a moment of silence. They all provoke a sense of discovery which she aims to translate and express in her work.
